Acta Kinesiologiae Universitatis Tartuensis
The Acta Kinesiologiae Universitatis Tartuensis publishes articles of high standard on various aspects of the exercise and sport sciences covering a number of disciplinary bases, including biochemistry, physiology, kinanthropometry, psychology, sociology and biomechanics, as well as all clinical aspects of exercise, sport and health, ergonomics, nutrition, sport performance, youth sport, aging and other interdisciplinary perspectives. Papers dealing with animal models are not excluded from consideration, but must be clearly relevant to exercise science. However, the Journal does not accept descriptive studies or data reports. In addition to original research articles, review articles and case studies are published. Manuscripts dealing with original investigations of exercise, validation of technological investigations in sport sciences or comprehensive reviews of topics relevant to the scientific study of exercise and sport will be considered for publication.The Acta Kinesiologiae Universitatis Tartuensis is an Open Access publication and is freely accessible to all audience. The journal presents research findings in the growing area of exercise and sport sciences to an international audience. The readership for this journal is varied and ranges from academic researchers and students to professionals in coaching, teaching and physiotherapy.
