Ajalooline Ajakiri. The Estonian Historical Journal is the oldest history journal in Estonia, having published its first volume in 1922. The journal focuses on the history of the Baltic Sea region and comprises all historical periods.The main language of the journal is Estonian, but starting 2007, articles and special issues have also been published in other languages.
All papers published in EHJ undergo strict peer review procedure.
The journals publishes four issues a year, including one special issue.
